Introduction

This site is mainly for the Cadets and Staff within the Wing, but visitors are very welcome. The Air Training Corps is a national voluntary youth organization. As the 'cadet wing' of the Royal Air Force and shares its uniform. All cadets get the chance to take part in such activities as flying, gliding, shooting, sports and other outdoor activities. There are ATC Squadrons in almost every town; with about 1000 cadets in this Wing.

Aims of the Air Training Corps

To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
To provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.
To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship

Wing Profile

The Wing has 29 Squadrons and 1 Detached Flight.

These units are located in most major Towns in Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire.

The Wing Headquarters is at RAF Halton and is one of the Wings in the Central & East Region.
