Green Howards Country Life
The Green Howards Country Life is a .22 postal competition.
There are two classes of Entry:
Class A – Team of Nine (8 Firers and a spotter) using any open sights
Class B – Team of Four (4 Firers and a spotter) using sights as issued
The competition needs to be shot between 30 Jan and 15 Mar 2004. There are a number of targets used in this competition which are unlike those cadets normally fire at including a “scenic landscape” target.
The Wing will arrange for supplies of the specific targets required for teams that enter and also provide one or more range days to shoot the competition for units wishing to enter who lack a range &/or an RCO.
Therefore Units wishing to enter are requested to contact the WIng Shooting Officer.
Units will be entered in Class B by default, any units with private weapons / no.8s with non-standard sights may also request entry into Class A.
