Minimum standards/ranks for each level are set out below. There is nothing wrong with using a higher qualification to achieve an award below that standard. i.e. Corporal can be used for a Bronze Award Service.

At Bronze you will need to be an Enrolled Cadet, actively involved in helping and assisting Probationer Cadets. This is ideal for the cadet who has recently joined but is particularly mature.
At Silver you will need to hold the rank of Corporal and either help other cadets to complete Bronze Award activities, or teach other Cadets.
At Gold you will need to be either a Cadet Sergeant or Staff Cadet. You should either help others to complete the Bronze or Silver Awards, teach other Cadets, or assist as a Flight Staff Cadet at either a Voluntary Gliding School or an Air Experience Flight.
Adult staff must carry out their normal ATC duties to a satisfactory standard.

Review/Assessment

The reviewer/assessor must be either the Squadron Commander or the Squadron Training Officer, who should see evidence of the training the participant has undertaken.

You must include the role played by the participant, contribution made and standard of service performed.
