Millennium Volunteers

There is very little recognition given to adult staff and are senior cadets who give their time has volunteers helping young people with the ATC.

You could gain the new, nationally-recognised Award

Aged 16 - 24 years   Millennium Volunteer Award.

Millennium Volunteer Badge

With effect from July 2002 Cadets who achieve 200 hours working as Millennium Volunteers will be awarded the Millennium Volunteer (MV) Badge.

A new badge is being produced by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Office and will include the MV logo and the Duke of Edinburgh cipher within the badge.

Wearing of the badge

Jersey - Right-hand side of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award badge with the edges 1cm apart. The MV badge is to be worn as indicated for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award badge if such badge has not been awarded.

No.1 SD uniform - 1.2cm above the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) Badge.
