A certificate will be awarded to everyone who completes 100 hours of volunteering and the full MV award is presented to participants who complete 200 hours.
For the ATC staff and cadets it does not mean a greater contribution in time, but you will be required to record how much time you spend on cadets activities.
You will need to make a record of the occasions you help at the squadron, this includes parade nights, weekend activities including NCO courses and annual camps. Any activity you do with the the Cadets count.
On completion of:
200 hours you will get a millennium volunteer certificate
200 hours you will get a
millennium volunteer award of excellence, signed by the Secretary Of State For
Education
You complete the award
application form, which is sent to the Wing MV Coordinator.
