Annual Golf Day

A way to get staff more involved in Sports, which would create a bit of friendly competition amongst squadrons and be fun.

An annual Golf Day in May at Weston Turnville Golf Club each year. 

Each squadron is invited to put forward team/s of four made up of Adult staff, Senior Cadets (over 18) and depending on the uptake, it may also be open to parents at your discretion, although priority should be given to adult staff in first instance.  If squadrons cannot fill a team then they will be matched up with other teams prior to the event. 

The programme for the day would be as follows:

  The cost for the day will be £25 per person including the above.  There will be two nearest the pin competitions along with a longest drive.  Trophies will be presented to those in the winning team and best score which will be worked out using handicaps on the Stapleford system.  All participants should have golf shoes, a half set of golf clubs and a bag.  These could probable be hired if necessary at additional cost.
